Лабораторная диагностика

Modern veterinary medicine is vital to quality laboratory diagnosis. This gives the opportunity for veterinarians to assess the functional state of internal organs and systems of the animal, determine the severity of pathological processes in the body, ultimately appointing the correct diagnosis and allocating the appropriate for this patient focused and rational therapy.

In the laboratory of our Center, the following laboratory tests are carried out:

General clinical research:

1. Haematological blood test, which includes:

  • Determination of haemoglobin,
  • Erythrocyte
  • The average content of haemoglobin,
  • Colour index,
  • Normocyte,
  • Reticulocyte,
  • Erythrocyte sedimentation rate,
  • Counting the number of leukocytes
  • Counting leukocyte counts,
  • Platelet count.

2. Blood analysis for piroplasmosis.

3. Investigation of blood for dirofilyarioz.

4. Blood analysis for leptospirosis.

5. Urinalysis, including:

  • determination of the reaction (pH) urine
  • specific gravity,
  • protein
  • glucose
  • ketone bodies,
  • bile pigments
  • microscopy of urinary sediment (detection of leukocytes, erythrocytes, and urinary cylinders, bacteria, and the identification of urinary crystals of salt).

6. Study exudative fluids (exudates, transudates).

7. Investigation of faeces (deployed coprogram).

8. The study of feces for worms.

9. Investigation of discharge.

10. Investigation of skin scrapings (detection of dermatophytes and akariformnyh mites).

11. Cytology.

12. Histology.

Biochemical studies:

Biochemical studies include the following indicators:

  • total protein,
  • urea,
  • creatinine,
  • bilirubin (direct and indirect)
  • alanine aminotransferase (ALT),
  • aspartate aminotransferase (AST)
  • alkaline phosphatase,
  • amylase,
  • potassium,
  • calcium,
  • glucose.
  • Coagulation.

Microbiological investigations:

Microbiological Research of blood, urine, sequestrate ear conchae, genitals, eyes, gut contents, as well as swabs from the skin and wounds – with the specification of sensitivity / resistance to various antibiotics (antibiotikogramma).
